Milton Real estate

The City of Milton is a highly affluent community

with an average household income close to $100,000 a year. On December 1, 2006 Milton was created created out of the entire unincorporated northwestern part of northern Fulton County,  including the former communities of  Birmingham, Field’s Cross Roads, and Crabapple.

Milton covers 25,054 acres of primarily rural land – 81% of which is zoned for residential use or public enjoyment.

Milton roads are mainly 2-lanes that lead through picturesque, pastoral valleys and over lush green forested hills to small clusters of custom built homes. Many of the home developments have their own amenities for residents such as swimming pools, playgrounds, clubhouses,  horse stables and private golf courses.

Many other residential developments consist of smaller clusters of homes with relatively large properties. Groups of people often ride their horses together through Milton’s residential neighborhoods.
